Information we collect
We collect the account details you provide when you create a salon (name, email, salon profile), the operational data you enter in the product (services, staff, appointments, clients, sales) and technical data such as log and device information needed to run and secure the service.
How we use your data
Your data is used to operate BeautyBot for your salon: showing your calendar, powering the AI receptionist and assistant, processing payments, sending transactional messages and providing support. We do not sell your data or your clients' data.
Payments and processors
Card payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers. We store only the identifiers and status information needed to reconcile your appointments, sales and subscription.
AI features
When you use the AI receptionist or assistant, the relevant salon context (such as services, prices and availability) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. This content is not used to train third-party models.
Data isolation and security
Every record belongs to a single salon and is protected by row-level security so one salon can never read another salon's data. Access is authenticated, encrypted in transit, and limited to the roles you assign (owner, manager, staff).
Retention and your rights
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@beautybotai.com. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify account owners by email before the changes take effect.
